Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Girl, 6
A 25-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl.
Police said Scott Philbrick was watching the girl for about a half hour earlier this month, but when the girl's mother returned home, the girl was bleeding, and the mother called 911.
"It was on the afternoon of May 4 that Manchester police responded to a Beech Street address for the report of an injured child," Sgt. Maureen Tessier said. "Upon arrival there, they discovered that Rockingham Ambulance was treating a 6-year-old girl who had sustained some injuries, reportedly as the result of an accidental fall."

Teen Charged With Threatening School Arrested Again
Days after pleading guilty to threatening a Columbine-style attack on West High School, a Manchester teenager was arrested again on a charge of violating his bail conditions.
Police said Sterling Lindbloom showed up at the school on Tuesday in violation of his bail conditions. Lindbloom pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal trespassing on Friday.
In court, prosecutors said police said Lindbloom standing near the doors of West High School. Prosecutors said Lindbloom previously threatened to turn one of the high schools into a "mass grave."
Infant, Child Rescued From Burning Manchester Building
An infant and a 2-year-old were rescued from a burning building on Auburn Street in Manchester on Friday.
Firefighters battled the fire in an apartment on 198 Auburn St. At least three people, in addition to the children, were trapped on the second floor of the building, and firefighters and neighbors helped them escape.
The fire was called in just before 9 a.m., and flames could be seen shooting from the roof of the building.
New Hampshire State Police are feeling the pinch of rising gas prices and making changes to make up the difference, but officials said the changes won't mean a cutback in service.
State police said they have shifted some troopers around in order to cut down on their travel time, but the number of patrols on the roads is still the same.
"We're just trying to streamline it and ensure we're doing our part for state government to help keep fuel costs down," Capt. Russell Conte said.
An 11-year-old boy was seriously injured by a drunken driver Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Investigators said the boy was struck by a car in front of his house at Union Street and Pinecrest Road after he got off a school bus. Police said the driver struck the boy, a tree and a utility pole.
The boy was taken to Elliot Hospital with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Woman Charged With Killing Pedestrian After Sox-Yankees Dispute
An argument over the Red Sox and Yankees turned deadly led a woman to run down a pedestrian with her car, prosecutors said, and now, she has been charged with murder.
Ivonne Hernandez, 43, was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Matthew Beaudoin, 29.
Prosecutors said words were exchanged in a parking lot behind Nashua City Hall on Friday between Hernandez and a group of people that included Beaudoin. Prosecutors said a comment was made about a Yankees sticker on Hernandez's car, and she then drove across a dirt parking lot and directly at the group, striking Beaudoin.
Two people are under arrest in Nashua accused in a bank robbery.
Police said a robber walked into a DCU Branch in the Somerset Plaza Saturday afternoon, handed a note to a clerk demanding money and made off with more than $7,000.
A Nashua police officer said a second suspect helped drive the robber there.
